Introducing PsySec Advanced, Essentials, Deep Dives, and more.

Parker Byrd

Today we’re rolling out a huge new update to our platform.

Introducing PsySec Advanced.

In addition to our monthly phishing testing with point of infraction (POI) training, we’re now offering a new security awareness program to go alongside it to provide monthly security awareness training to all employees.

Annual Security Awareness Training, reimagined.

Long gone are the days that once-a-year “annual training” gets the job done. To effectively train the brain over time to recognize and respond to security threats, we’ve created a revolutionary new approach by delivering a baseline level of training upfront followed by monthly microlearning focusing one topic a month

Our PsySec security awareness training program consists of two parts:

PsySec™ Essentials

Establish a baseline knowledge for your employees, and bring new employees up to speed.

PsySec Essentials is an annual training course that touches on each area of security an employee should know for the year. Topics include phishing, passwords, working remotely, and more.

PsySec™ Deep Dives

Unpack and explain a different subject each month in a fun, engaging way.

With PsySec™ Deep Dives, each month an employee will receive a single-video course diving deep into a single area of security. These videos take topics that are often hard to grasp and make them accessible and memorable to all employees.

Combined, these two learning tracks create an effective and positive security-aware culture for employees. The reason we take two simultaneous approaches is that the Essentials course helps to deliver a baseline level of each important topic upfront and annually, while the monthly Deep Dives are the courses that really drive toward maturity and compliance.

Designed for Compliance

Our PsySec training is designed to train all employees in order to increase an organization's cybersecurity compliance and maturity. Hook Security has positioned this course to satisfy the following common Compliance Standards and Controls:

  • CMMC / Awareness & Training / CO11, CO12 / Maturity Level 3 Target
  • NIST 800-171 / 3.2.1, 3.2.2, 3.2.3
  • NIST 800-53 / AT2(1) - AT3

More to Come

Our new training is just a drop in the bucket for what will make up PsySec Advanced. Throughout the rest of the year we’ll be adding new features and tools, such as a phishing email reporting tool, updates to our reporting, API updates, new integrations, and more.

We are so excited to roll out this new training. For more information head over to our Security Awareness Training page.
