AI is intelligence. PsySec is psychology. They are not the same thing, and the psychology side gets more important as the intelligence side gets more capable — not less.

Every phishing message, however it was written, still has to do one thing: trigger a human emotion fast enough that the person acts before they think. Urgency. Scarcity. Trust. Helpfulness. Authority. Social proof. Those six tactics are the attack surface, and they have not changed because the copywriting got better.

Which is why training that teaches people to hunt for typos ages badly, and training that teaches people to notice the feeling in their chest before they click does not. Trained human instinct is the best defense an organization has against social engineering — and the fastest way to build it is training people are willing to watch.
