Five G2 Badges in One Report: Thank You to the Teams Who Actually Use Hook
The G2 Fall 2026 reports just dropped, and Hook Security earned five badges in the security awareness training category: High Performer, High Performer (Mid-Market), Best Support (Mid-Market), Easiest To Do Business With (Mid-Market), and Best Meets Requirements (Mid-Market).

I want to say something about why these particular badges matter to me, because "we won an award" posts are usually noise.
Nobody at G2 picked us
G2 badges are not judged awards. They are computed. Every quarter, G2’s algorithm processes verified reviews from real, identity-checked users and ranks every product in the category on satisfaction and market presence. A vendor cannot buy a badge, and a marketing team cannot write its way into one. The only input is what actual users say after actually using the product.
That is the entire reason review platforms matter more every quarter: the way buyers research security tools has changed. Your next client asks ChatGPT or Copilot what to buy, and those AI assistants read G2, Capterra, and Gartner Peer Insights before they answer. Reviews are not social proof anymore. They are the source material for the answer.
The two badges I care about most
High Performer is the headline, and I’ll take it. But two of the mid-market badges mean more to me than the shiny one.
Best Support means our reviewers rated Hook’s quality of support at the top of the category. We sell security awareness training that runs itself - training, phishing simulations, and reporting on Autopilot - so you might think support barely matters. I see it the opposite way: when a product promises to run without you, the moments you DO need a human are the whole relationship. Those moments are apparently going well, and that credit belongs to our support and success team.
Easiest To Do Business With is the one I’d frame. We publish our pricing when most of the category makes you book a demo to see a number. We answer the phone. We let MSPs run hundreds of client organizations from one pane of glass without a certification course. "Easy to do business with" is the review-data version of everything we believe about how this category should work.
What the numbers behind the badges look like
As of this report, Hook Security holds a 4.6 out of 5 rating on G2 from verified reviews. The badges above come from that review base, sliced by G2’s Fall 2026 report methodology for the security awareness training category and the mid-market segment (companies of 51 to 1,000 employees).
Every one of those reviews is public. If you’re evaluating Hook against KnowBe4 or anyone else, don’t take my word for any of this - read what users say on our G2 profile, including the critical ones. Honest reviews are the useful ones.
If Hook has been useful to your team
Badges are earned by reviews, and reviews take five minutes. If Hook has made your security program better - or if it hasn’t and you want to say so - leave an honest review on G2. Write whatever is true. It genuinely shapes whether teams like yours find us.
To our customers and MSP partners who took the time to write the reviews behind these five badges: thank you. You built this.

Frequently asked questions
What do G2 badges mean?
G2 badges are computed quarterly from verified user reviews, not chosen by editors. High Performer means a product has high customer-satisfaction scores relative to the category. Segment badges like Best Support, Easiest To Do Business With, and Best Meets Requirements go to the products whose reviewers rated them highest on those specific dimensions within a market segment.
How is Hook Security rated on G2?
Hook Security holds a 4.6/5 rating from verified G2 reviews and earned five badges in the Fall 2026 reports: High Performer, High Performer (Mid-Market), Best Support (Mid-Market), Easiest To Do Business With (Mid-Market), and Best Meets Requirements (Mid-Market).
Where can I compare Hook Security to other vendors?
Start with the public reviews on G2, Capterra, and Gartner Peer Insights, then compare pricing - Hook publishes its MSRP at hooksecurity.co/pricing ($2 per seat per month, $20 per seat per year, or $999/year flat for businesses under 50 seats). Most of the category requires a sales call to see a number; we think you should be able to compare in the open.
