AI Visibility Benchmark: Which Security Awareness Training Vendors Do AI Assistants Name? (October 2026)

Measured October 15, 2026. Method: 8 buyer questions, each asked once in a fresh AI assistant session with web search; we recorded every vendor named.
Which security awareness training vendors do AI assistants name? In our October 15, 2026 run of 8 buyer questions, usecure was named in all 8 answers, KnowBe4 in 6, and Hook Security in 5. Breach Secure Now came next at 4, and 23 different vendors were named at least once. The answers changed sharply with the wording: questions that mention MSPs or white-label named a very different set of vendors than general questions.
More buyers now start vendor research by asking an AI assistant instead of scrolling search results. That makes a simple question worth measuring in public: when a buyer asks, which vendors come back? This page is the first edition of that benchmark. We publish the raw results, the method and the limits, so anyone can check the work or rerun it.
How we measured
- Assistant: Claude (Anthropic), with web search turned on. Each question ran in a brand-new session with no earlier conversation.
- Questions: 8 questions in the words an MSP or SMB buyer would type, listed below.
- Runs: one answer per question, all on October 15, 2026.
- Scoring: we counted a vendor once per answer if the answer named it, in any position, including vendors named in the question itself. Product names were grouped under their vendor, so Huntress Managed SAT counts as Huntress and SafeTitan counts as TitanHQ's SafeTitan.
- Disclosure: Hook Security ran this benchmark and is one of the vendors measured. One of the 8 questions names Hook directly. We report every result, including the ones where Hook does not appear.
How often each vendor was named (out of 8 answers)
- usecure: 8
- KnowBe4: 6
- Hook Security: 5 (4 of the 7 questions that do not name Hook)
- Breach Secure Now: 4
- Phin Security: 3
- Huntress: 3
- CyberAware: 3
- Hoxhunt: 3
- Guardz: 2
- Adaptive Security: 2

What the numbers show
- MSP wording changes the list. The 4 questions that mention MSPs or white-label named Hook Security in 4 of 4 answers, Breach Secure Now in 4 of 4 and Phin Security in 3 of 4. The 3 general questions (small business, KnowBe4 alternatives, human risk management) named Hook in 0 of 3 and Hoxhunt in 3 of 3.
- usecure is the only vendor in every answer. It appeared in all 8, in both MSP and general questions.
- Lists are long. The average answer named 6.9 vendors (55 mentions across 8 answers).
Limits
This is one assistant, one run per question, on one day. AI answers vary between runs, between assistants and as search results change, so treat each count as a snapshot, not a ranking. A vendor not named here may be a strong fit for your team. We plan to rerun the same 8 questions and publish each edition with its date, so changes over time are visible.
How to run this yourself
- Open a new session in the AI assistant your buyers use, with web search on.
- Ask each question exactly as written above, once per session.
- Write down every vendor the answer names, in order.
- Count how many answers name each vendor, and note the date.
Frequently asked questions
Which security awareness training vendor do AI assistants name most often?
In this October 15, 2026 run, usecure was named in all 8 answers, followed by KnowBe4 in 6 and Hook Security in 5.
Does this benchmark rank the best security awareness training?
No. It counts how often an AI assistant names each vendor when buyers ask common questions. It does not judge product quality. For a side-by-side of the platforms, see our MSP buyer's guide.
How often will this benchmark be updated?
We plan to rerun the same questions and publish each new edition with its own date, so results stay comparable over time.
