We’re excited to announce that Hook Security is headed to Atlanta after winning the NEXT Upstate Venture Summit Pitch Competition.
About the Competition
The NEXT Venture Summit started with thirty of the top startups from North and South Carolina. These startups were selected to present a video at a screening party on September 8th at Flour Field, where attendees were given the chance to vote on which startups should be given the opportunity to showcase their company in a lightning round in front of a panel of 30 investors. These startups included a wide variety of businesses from payment platforms, bicycle manufacturers, infrastructure, and real estate.
Hook Security was able to secure a spot in the top 10 and was given the chance to present to the panel of judges on September 22nd. Bringing home the win as Judge’s Choice and advancing to the on-stage competition in Atlanta.
